How to link to the procedures

There are a number of ways of linking to this website or creating a quick shortcut to it.

Creating a desktop shortcut

There are a number of methods to create a desktop shortcut icon to this website. Please note that the desktop icon will show the traditional blue internet explorer symbol unless you use method 1*. These instructions assume that your computer runs Microsoft(TM) Windows XP and that your web browser is Internet Explorer.

1. Using Internet Explorer first choose the homepage of this website, then click on the "File" menu in your web browser. Choose the "Send..." option and then "Shortcut to desktop". The SWCPP logo icon should appear on your windows desktop.

2. This method works with most desktop computer systems and is most suited to 'always on' internet connections. To create a desktop shortcut to this website, simply click and drag the logo below to your computer desktop. To do this you will need to ensure that your web browser window doesn't completely fill the screen and that you can see your desktop behind it. Click on "yes" if you get the message "Do you want to move or copy files from this zone?". A shortcut icon should then appear on your desktop. You can then launch this website by double clicking on icon.
