This website uses PDF (Adobe Acrobat) file format for the publication of documents. In order to read PDFs you need to download a copy of the free Acrobat Reader. To ensure compatibility with our documents, check that your reader is the most up to date version.

Due to the graphics-intensive nature of flow charts on this site, these cannot be presented in an accessible format although we strive to present this information in a text form wherever possible.

Download Core Procedures

The core procedures have been developed primarily as a web based information source and not downloadable as a single document. This ensures that you will always be accessing the most up to date information and guidance. Individual pages of the procedures can be printed from your web browser, should you need to. If you require an electronic copy of the procedures (e.g. for training purposes), please contact your local safeguarding manager for guidance.
